I am currently looking over a project my students completed, and some of the videos are frozen and won't play until about 1/2 way through the piece. This is happening the reference tracks as well. Not all groups are having this issue. For example - Group 1 of my project contains students and only about 1 or 2 of them play from the beginning. When we get to about measure 30, the rest of the tracks start to play. Help please!

Do the individual videos all play normally in Drive?
Does this happen on export, or while in the app?
If the problem persists after shutting down and restarting your browser and computer, please submit a problem report, and be sure to include the console log after the problem occurs.

Also: 1) is just the visual component that is not playing, or if the audio is also delayed start, mirroring the video? 2) is it always the same videos? And at the same times? 3) how many videos are on-screen at once? How many are experiencing this issue?

It is happening in the app. I have other projects and they are working just fine, it's just that for this one the videos and audio start at different times. The videos appear to have gotten into Drive correctly? We are in collaboration mode and it is happening within the group as well as when I assemble it.

It is both visual and audio. The videos are synced with themselves but not with the surrounding videos - idk if that makes sense?

3) how many videos are on-screen at once? How many are experiencing this issue?
There are 11 or so videos on the screen and about 8 of them are having issues.

Okay. Please let us know about the other questions when you can:
1) does the problem persist after restarting the browser? 2) does the problem persist after restarting the computer? 3) please also confirm that the individual videos in Drive all play correctly. 4) do any of your other projects that are working without issue also have 11 videos onscreen at a time?

Hello,
We were able to play the project on three different devices without experiencing any of the issues you describe.
Our hypothesis is that there are too many videos (this is a 15-part project), and your computer isn't handling it well. Please go to the "Mixing" page and confirm whether there is any problems on play-back when playing your project there.
If we are correct, there should be no issues on the "Mixing" page. Furthermore, if we are correct and this is a performance issue your computer is unable to handle, the video would most likely export fine.
In any case, we did not experience the issues you describe. Everything was normal, suggesting there is no error program-side.
Please keep us updated on what you may find on the Mixing page, on export, or on another device.
