I created a new project this morning and tried to record. Immediately it asked me to recalibrate. I did this and never heard any beeping sounds. I accepted anyway and proceeded to try to record my reference tracks. When I clicked on Record it says Get Ready, then 1 then it stops. I also notice that there is a new icon at the top middle of my screen indicating that my camera and microphone are being temporarily shared. Never had these pop up before. Help! I am under the gun to do some recordings for my students recitals. Attached a screen print screen print.pdf (258.02 KB)

Hello. 1) no beeping to calibrate the microphone: Please know that there is a significant SEVERAL second delay before beeping begins. The delay is long enough that it may seem as if the calibration is not working. The orange camera/microphone icon will appear at the top of the Firefox browser before the beeping begins. As long as the orange camera/microphone icon appear in Firefox, Cyborg Llama is working as expected and there is a hardware problem if beeping doesn't begin. There are many possibilities of the nature of the hardware problem. Here are two ideas: 1) there is a problem with the hardware (mic or speakers). You can test both pieces of hardware here to see if you experience the same issues on another site in the same browser; 2) restart the computer. If none of these possibilities solve the issue, please isolate this problem and give more information about the steps you took (ie, did you set up hardware, what was the hardware, does the hardware work on other sites in the same browser, were headphones plugged in, if so was the volume turned up to a sufficient level that you are able to hear noise through headphones that you are not wearing on other sites on the same browser, etc) what you were expecting, and what happened 2) the orange icon at the top middle of your screen indicating that your camera and mic are being shared is a feature of Firefox and has always been present3) the hanging on "1" in the count in: there are no errors in the logs. Please restart your computer. Otherwise, try again but in Chrome. Another option is to disable 'trim streams' on the 'Set Up and Calibrate Hardware' page. This should only be used as a last resort. Keeping 'trim streams' enabled trims your recorded videos to target sizes which significantly improve loading times and performance. Disabling 'trim streams' will record videos at full resolution which will make loading times longer, but may circumvent certain errors

Problem solved. It was a hardware issue. Microphone was not set correctly. Thank you so much for your prompt response!
