Some of my students have been receiving error notices when they save. Sometimes it saves to my folder anyway and sometimes it doesn't. I have also noticed that when they get this message, it will save in my incoming folder as their name in details but have someone else's video attached. I have attached a picture of the error report and one of the student's log of when it happened. Console Log_.docx (6.82 KB)

Hello, The screenshot of the error your students receive is not attached. Could you resend? That being said, does the error match any of the errors that are described on the troubleshooting page of the website? You can scroll down a bit and find a section titled "Error Messages". Regarding the names and videos not matching: If you have set up the project so that the part 'name' is the student's name, then what likely happened is that a different student recorded in that video window.

Here is the link to the Error Sign my students are getting. It is not on Cyborg Llama that I am seeing the videos with the wrong names. It is in the folder in Google drive. When I look at the details, the owner is not the same person as the video that is attached to it. The only way this should happen if if they are logged in with the other person's google information. I know that isn't the case.

Hello,
I still can't see the error sign, but I think I am misunderstanding what you mean by an 'error'; I thought you were saying that students had told you their recordings had not saved.
If I am now understanding correctly, there is no error.
Recordings can be recorded, and they can also be 'uploaded'. If a student 'opens' another student's recording, that copy of the file will belong to the student who created the duplicate, not the student who recorded the original. The original recording will still belong to the student who made the original recording.
This is how the program works. You are correct that there is no other way this could be the case, unless they were logged in with each others accounts. What I described above is what happened.
To the other part of your question regarding when files appear in your drive and when they do not:
The program is working as expected. Unsaved takes are loaded into the 'Incoming' folder. Once a take is 'Saved' it will be moved into the main project folder. This is all described on the FAQ and Tutorial pages of the website, if you wish to learn more.
